The Port of Jazan City of Primary Downstream and Industries

Jazan Port is distinguished by its strategic location on the Red Sea, approximately 600 kilometers south of Jeddah, in the southwestern part of Jazan City for Basic and Transformational Industries. It i s one of the most important and modern ports in the Kingdom in terms of its geographical location on the Red Sea and its proximity to the Republic of Yemen and the countries of the Horn of Africa It makes it an additional station for many opportunities in the fields of maritime transport, freight and export business.

The Port of Jazan City of Primary Downstream and Industries, will serve the southern region of Saudi Arabia (Abha, Najran, Albaha,Jazan) which in turn benefit from established  transportation routes between the cities.

The 1.2 km 2 Artificial Island located to the west of the Port has been created from dredge material and provides in excess of 1.8 km of water frontage with the potential for industrial waterfront developments requiring access to the Red Sea. The island will be connected to the port by road, and to the JCPDI bonded zone north of the Port via a bridge currently in the planning and design stage
